I think that it’s not possible to say “my
favorite song is…” or “my favorite film is…” because I still don’t watch all
the movies of my life, but I choose one of the latest movies that I’ve seen,
“Amour”, it was written and directed by Michel Haneke. The film was screened at
the 2012 Cannes Film Festival, where it won the Palme d'Or. It won the Academy
Award for Best Foreign Language Film at the 85th Academy Awards, and was
nominated in four other categories: Best Picture, Best Actress in a Leading
Role (Emmanuelle Riva), Best Original Screenplay (Michael Haneke) and Best
Director (Michael Haneke). At the age of 85, Emmanuelle Riva is the oldest
nominee for the Best Actress in a Leading Role.
The argument of the film is based on an elderly
couple that they live in an apartment in Paris, the woman is subject to an
operation that causes a right side hemiplegic, she should be cared for her
husband. The temporality of the actions it makes the film become in reality and
without fantasies, it is simply the life. This is a film that manages to
corrupt the sense of morality. In the real life it’s not exist the real
parameter to decide who is right or wrong and an action motivated by love can
be fully opposed to morally. I don’t really know how the director managed to
show the reality without the movie becomes slow and boring, the way in which
the actions just happen it’s so beautiful.
I recommend watch this great film of this great
director.
I don't see this film, but you says that is a very good film. I see when I have time :)
