English language challenges

I Think the English Program should be different for each career, I know, it’s impossible to implement a specific program without a previous leveling.

At least, this semester the exercises or the items to learn had, many times, relationship with the society, that which so positive to discuss about social problems, for example, and amply our vocabulary in this area. The last semester we had exercises like “The Carbon Footprint” and I think it doesn’t exist a logical reason to exercise like this.  

About the blog experience, I think it’s a good time to practice vocabulary. In the beginning I don’t liked the “free post”, but then it started to like me, because in the “free post” you have the opportunities to search and practice the vocabulary interest you.

Like I said, this semester, the English program it`s better than the last semester program, for the topics and exercises. Maybe it would be good reed some text, about art, obviously, a good text in English about art help us to learn specific vocabulary. Because we don’t choose this subject, then this subject will be a useful tool for the career.

I don’t use the English so much, but sometimes I will like reed some texts in English. I think not so much people in the faculty use the English daily, for a decision sometimes. For that, I think the English program it would be elective.

I don’t know what else to say about the English program, maybe that I prefer the first part the class than the second part, because in the first part we can discuss.

Good and Bad Points

Good and bad points.

I think this year was a good year, because I weed out the little wheels to my bicycle and I lost my fear of spiders, it’s not true, it’s only a joke. It’s a difficult post if you don’t want to talk about personal things. Well, I will try.

I will start with a bad point, this year the doctor diagnostic to my grandmother with Alzheimer, It wasn’t a good new, but it was. My grandmother was seventy five years old and she lives in a home for the elderly; I try to visit her regularly.

Now, a good point, this year was a good year to learn more about my career, maybe because this year we don’t have so many strikes. I think the most important in this career are the possibilities that it give you to do, to think, etc.

Other good point, this year I have a good job, other years I was work in horrible shops and restaurants, and now I work in a coffee shop with some of friends of the faculty and I have been able to save much money for my vacations, and this the real good points, the great points, when the university year end I will go to travel.

Well, I need to go, because at seventy is the open exhibition of some friends of the faculty. Thanks for your comprehension.

A great movie

 

I think that it’s not possible to say “my favorite song is…” or “my favorite film is…” because I still don’t watch all the movies of my life, but I choose one of the latest movies that I’ve seen, “Amour”, it was written and directed by Michel Haneke. The film was screened at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival, where it won the Palme d'Or. It won the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film at the 85th Academy Awards, and was nominated in four other categories: Best Picture, Best Actress in a Leading Role (Emmanuelle Riva), Best Original Screenplay (Michael Haneke) and Best Director (Michael Haneke). At the age of 85, Emmanuelle Riva is the oldest nominee for the Best Actress in a Leading Role.

The argument of the film is based on an elderly couple that they live in an apartment in Paris, the woman is subject to an operation that causes a right side hemiplegic, she should be cared for her husband. The temporality of the actions it makes the film become in reality and without fantasies, it is simply the life. This is a film that manages to corrupt the sense of morality. In the real life it’s not exist the real parameter to decide who is right or wrong and an action motivated by love can be fully opposed to morally. I don’t really know how the director managed to show the reality without the movie becomes slow and boring, the way in which the actions just happen it’s so beautiful.

I recommend watch this great film of this great director.

I don't have a topic

This is our third free post and it’s too complicated to me, always the same thing happens to me, I have problems to choose a topic to talk. Well, the time passes and I don’t have a topic yet, then I will talk about what happened when you don´t have a topic.

When you don´t have a topic you look to your around, look the all things around you as if any of these things to talk to you and give you a topic. The next step is look at your classmates, maybe one of them give you a topic, but you’re wrong, they look at you too with the same question.  Now the problem is too big, the teacher is coming to ask you about the topic!!!! And you hear your classmates saying topics like the title of a movie or “the moon” and you still don’t have a topic to say, then, like the teacher’s blog, the imagination is only the beginning, you have the topic! And I have written one hundred seventy six words, now hundred eighty, and I’m sure that I can complete two hundred twenty words without a topic.

Now I thinking about the end of my post, and as I don’t have a topic it’s too easy to finish I don’t have a conclusion or something like that.

Paul Klee Exhibition

In the Tate Modern, in London, are an exhibition of Paul Klee. The comments about the exhibition are so great, people describ the exhibition like a trip through the countryside or through the sea, perhaps about the colours or the forms of his paintings.

 
In the opening, Paul Klee was here. He accompanied to the visitors in a guided visit, and for them, the visitors, it was very difficult don´t see his face all the time.

 
The art of Klee in the exhibition was so playful, harmonious and benign, was also open. The paintings of Paul Klee are very different, but all of them are Paul Klee. Hi paint with his temperament, restless, his way of ordering colours and shapes capted the attention always when you see that.    

The Spring

I have a free post and I want to talk about Spring...

I love spring, I don´t usually have "favorite things", but exceptionally my favorite season it's spring. All years I hope september 21st. and more specially september 23st. because it´s my birthday, but the topic is "The Spring".

In spanish, the meaning of spring is something like "first green" and in the literature the spring represent youth. And now thinking about this information, the meaning in spanish: "first green"; and the meaning in literature: "youth", isn't it the same? What is the comparision the people do about the youth? We are like green apples! The spring is our season, the season of green apples. The green color represent too "life", then, we can think in spring like the season of life.

Green, youth and life, trhee different words, but depending of the context, that words can mean the same thing.

That is spring to me, life.

I gould like visit...

I don’t know if I have a favorite country that I want to know, but  Australia is an interesting country to visit. A big piece of earth in the ocean when most of the population is aboriginal. This aboriginal population inhabit Australia more than forty two thousand years ago, that is to say that Australia has a millenary culture live.

Australia is an atractive country also for the climate and geography, whith three kinds of different climates, big mountains and a big dessert sector. Visit Australia gould be like visit a lot of different parts of the world in the same country, probably the people think the same about Chile.

I gould like to visit this country beacause it is so diverse, the big aboriginal population and the england influence are so atractive to me.

I hope to visit Australia soon, I have an aunt living there and I hope she receive me.

Also I gould like to travel arround the world.
